I found our venue for our wedding online and saw the reviews for Sonhoadois wedding planning services. I emailed them and got a quick response to get booked in for a video call. We were linked up with Noelia and from the very beginning she was so committed to helping us plan our wedding. We had our first video call and I couldn't believe how much information we were given about the venue we were looking at. We quickly settled on a date for the wedding in Portugal and went from there. Noelia always responded to us so quickly and even those last minute emails panic booking fireworks everything was sorted for us. We arranged to go to Portugal in November for a make up trial and food tasting and we couldn't believe the treatment we received. Noelia arranged to pick us up from the hotel and took us to the food tasting where we were spoiled with food and drinks. It was my husbands birthday and Noelia even arranged for candles and a cake for him at the venue. Noelia took her time to sit with us and chat through the food tasting and took down notes for us. We were then taken to the florist where we discussed everything and Noelia was great at helping communicating my vison for the flowers. I didn't feel stressed during the whole process as Noelia and the team were always there to support us in everything we needed and made everything such an easy process from Belfast to Portugal. Then came the wedding day and it could have not went any more better than we hoped for. The WHOLE DAY was organised right down to every little detail and it couldn't have went any more smooth. My dad even left something at the hotel and Noelia drove him back to get it. All of our guests said they had never been to a wedding like it and they couldn't believe how smooth the day went. There was no point at the day where guests were left standing waiting around. We even booked in five minutes after the ceremony to take to ourselves and Noelia subtly came and got us an ensure we had this time alone. It was also my mums birthday and last minute I asked Noelia to get a cake organised and she done this with no problem. I can't describe how well everything went, literally NO complaints at all. I fully recommend Noelia and the team Sonhodois. The service is very personal as well, you don't feel as you are just another wedding for the team but Noelia got time to know us. In all honesty, there simply are no words that can do justice to just how amazing the team at Sonho a Dois are but I will try my best. A wedding abroad was always our dream but like most people, we had no idea where to even start. Luckily for us, we came across Sonho a Dois through Google and from those very first emails to Carla in late 2021, right up to our absolutely perfect wedding day on 14th September 2023, we could not have been happier with the service and expertise. We provided some brief details in our initial emails and Carla immediately arranged a video call with us (at a time that suited us). It was on this call that we knew we were in good hands, we agreed 4 or 5 potential venues and informed Carla of the dates we would be flying over to Portugal to try view these venues. Carla contacted each venue to arrange a viewing and made herself available to collect us from our hotel and bring us to each venue while absolutely refusing to take any money from us for the full day of her time that we had taken up. Having viewed the venues we immediately knew which one we wanted and once we let Carla know, it was like a magician going to work as she had both the venue for our ceremony and our meal etc. confirmed within a week. Not only that but we got the date that we had really wanted. A lot of details were then handled on emails / messages where we always felt like an absolute top priority as we would have responses in record time. Roll around our second and last trip to Portugal prior to the wedding for the food tasting and once again we felt like VIPs with being collected and brought to meet the florist, where we had am endless nunber of options that all came with Carla's expert opinion and advice. The food tasting was then exceptional and Carla took detailed notes throughout that actually helped us make our final decisions on the menu to be used. There is genuinely too many small details to go through on here but absolutely everything was handled with speed & care by the team at Sonho a Dois. Then came the big day, from making sure the photographer was with me (the groom) on time to ensuring the buses for the guests were on time and the guests were all comfortable to all the small details that made our wedding the absolute best day of our lives. I cannot stress this enough but everything and I mean EVERYTHING ran so unbelievably smooth on the day that it is only now, when it is all said and done, that we can appreciate just how stress free our day was made to be. We cannot thank Sonho a Dois enough for the perfect, once in a lifetime memory that they helped us obtain. Carla, you are a diamond and we will forever be grateful for the magical day you created for us. Joana and the team at Sonho A Dois went above and beyond for us throughout our wedding planning journey! From the minute we first spoke I knew Joana wanted us to have the perfect day and she captured the exact vibe that we wanted because every suggestion she gave us suited our taste and fit in with our plans. Our emails were answered so efficiently and we made tow visits to Portugal and as son as we sent our dates to Joana she was able to make herself available to meet with us. We had many phone calls and video calls to discussing how plans were progressing and she was so organised and on top of everything, we never had to worry. Joana also gave us honest opinions and tips to make the most of our budget and still create our dream day. In the early months we had a location drama and Joana was so calm and resolved our problem right away, she had anticipated all issues and we ended up in somewhere even better and more special to us! We have made a friend for life and cannot express in enough words how grateful we are and cannot recommend Sonho A Dois highly enough and I have already recommended to friends at home who are looking to get married in Portugal!
I don't even know where to begin. Getting married in Portugal was an absolute dream, and Joana from Sonho a Dois made it our reality. Joana is an absolute angel on earth who made planning our big day so so easy from the start. From choosing our venue without visiting to making sure we had everything to make it special. Everything we could have ever dreamed of became possible,and that was all because of her hard work and dedication. She is the kindest and most hard working person I have ever met. We have definitely made a lovely friend whilst planning our big day. Nothing was ever too much of an ask. Her attention to detail was second to none. No words will ever be enough to thank you!! Our wedding day was a complete fairy tale, from start to finish. It was so far beyond all of our expectations. Our guests summed it up perfectly 'the best wedding everr!!'. That just says it all!!
